On the 1st November we sponsored the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lincolnshire Sports Awards 2018, organised by Active Lincolnshire. The night was attended by 350 people from local sports clubs, businesses and schools in order to honour athletes, coaches and volunteers who have made a difference to sports over the past year.

The Lifetime Achievement award was to be presented to the person or company that had made the most outstanding contribution to sport in Lincolnshire for 25 years or more, and this year, the worthy recipient was Pat Crowley of Lincoln Pentaqua.

City of Lincoln Pentaqua Swimming Club is a family friendly, competitive swimming club – their mission is to develop swimmers so that they can compete at the highest levels within the sport. Presented by SCS Managing Director Jerry Parker, Pat was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of dedication to the sport.  Pat has given, and continues to give many hours of his time coaching and officiating not only in Lincolnshire, but across the country.

Other winners of the night were:
